Delegation of Tomsk innovative companies participate in the leading technology festival Tech Open Air Berlin

On July, Berlin hosted the annual European technology festival, one of the major events in the European innovation ecosystem. This year, the delegation of Tomsk innovative companies participated in the event for the first time. The delegation was assembled by the regional center of the Enterprise Europe Network with the support of the Regional Department for Development of Innovative and Entrepreneurial Activities. The delegation included representatives of SMART Solutions, Monet (DI Group), Soft Crystal, Showroom (Animatronic TM), and Servisnyye Silovyye Sistemy (Service Power Systems).

During the event, the representatives held several dozens of individual meetings and negotiations on the forum sidelines, made a presentation at the representative office of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Germany, and participated in events with leading European experts in the field of innovation and technological entrepreneurship. Tech Open Air (TOA) is a technology conference for entrepreneurs and investors, providing a platform for interdisciplinary knowledge exchange, collaboration, and development in the fields of technologies, music, art, and science.

Annually TOA Berlin brings together influential speakers, entrepreneurs, artists, scientists, founders of startups, investors from more than 55 countries. Among the even partners, there are Google, Samsung, Daimler, T-Systems, Uber, Accenture, KPMG, Bayer, SAP, Waves, and key actors of Berlin ecosystems of innovation and entrepreneurship. The main events of the program were held in Haus of Tech Berlin, rebuilt the former broadcasting center of the GDR. The participation of the Tomsk entrepreneurs was organized by the Tomsk CCI in collaboration with COMMIT GmbH and the representative office of the Russian CCI in Germany as part of the activities of the regional entrepreneurship development program.
